The LOST Book Club

iTunes is now featuring the LOST Book Club. These are audiobooks that are either referenced in dialogue or seen in the background. Some of the choices are oblivious like: Lord of the Flies, Alice in Wonderland, Catch-22 and On the Road. There are surprises (to me—a fan and not a hardcore LOST meaning seeker) like A Wrinkle in Time, The Brothers Karamazov, Heart of Darkness, Carrie and Slaughterhouse Five.

This is pretty cool, but there is one huge disappointment. No Judy Blume's Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. I love when Sawyer is reading it on the beach in, The Whole Truth. He doesn't like because it is "predictable" and "doesn't have enough sex". I find a perverse joy in watching a 30-something man reading about a tweenaged girl's first bra and first period.
